Hi! I’m Dee and I make gorgeous stuff for dogs. Here you can find handcrafted and bespoke dog beds, cushions, blankets and accessories to keep any hound happy. You can also find beautiful hand drawn illustrations that are based on you, your dogs and your families. Everything is designed and handmade by me in my retail shop and design studio based in the grounds of Hatfield House, former home of Queen Elizabeth I, in Hertfordshire.

The story of Slumbering Hound
Looking around for blankets for our Greyhound Aston, I realised that there was a huge choice on the market, varying considerably in price and quality. With my background in mind, I decided it would be a great idea to make my own for him. I received some great feedback, made a few things for friends and was approached to be part of a pop-up collective on my local high street. The venture was a great success and it has given me the positive start I needed to allow Slumbering Hound to grow into what it is today.
